Badger Meter adds Rockwell’s Tessa Myers to board of directors

(February 28, 2019, Milwaukee Business Journals)

Badger Meter Inc. has added a Rockwell Automation Inc. vice president to its board of directors.

Tessa Myers, Rockwell’s vice president – North America sales, services and solutions, was appointed to the Badger Meter (NYSE: BMI) board effective Wednesday. Myers won’t replace any current director, thereby expanding the Brown Deer based flow measurement systems and controls company’s board to 10 members.

Myers joined Rockwell (NYSE: ROK) in 1999. According to a Badger Meter release, she has worked extensively to accelerate Rockwell’s Connected Enterprise, the smart manufacturing transformation utilizing connected smart devices that access data and analytics to enable decision making.

Prior to her current role, Myers was a regional vice president for Rockwell’s Canadian operations, and also was a business director for its Singapore-based business center.

“Tessa brings deep knowledge and experience as it relates to marketing, engineering and Internet of Things data and analytics connectivity with her background and wide ranging roles at Rockwell Automation,” said Badger Meter president and CEO Ken Bockhorst. “These skills will be especially valuable to the board and management team as we continue to innovate our smart water solutions and expand globally.”
