Milwaukee Women inc welcomes individuals to our Steering Committee who share our passion for diversifying corporate boards and executive leadership. Steering committee members are in a position to contribute experience, contacts or other resources to further our mission and/or are interested in serving on a corporate board. Our nominating committee accepts nominations and approves candidates for membership.

The Business Case For Gender Diversity on Boards
Companies that achieve diversity and manage it well attain better financial results, on average, than other companies, according to Catalyst, the global nonprofit focused on building workplaces that work for women. Recent research by Catalyst showed that companies with women board members had:
better stock performance
higher return on equity
higher price-to-book value multiples
better average growth
