MWi has been providing annual research on the number of women on corporate boards since 2003 – long before board diversity began receiving the attention it does today. This research is the foundation of our organization – it provides important data that brings attention to our mission and quantifies the results. It also encourages CEOs to make a diverse board a priority for their companies.
Our research documents the number of women on each Wisconsin public and private company board, selected regional and national data and with insights from leading Wisconsin CEOs on how they achieved their best-in-class results.
2023 Research Report released on October 25, 2023
Our 2023 research report, “Driving Forward: Our work is not done”, shows the percentage of women on the boards of Wisconsin’s top 50 public and private companies increased slightly in the last year.
